JXL Blue Sabre "Cody"

Cody 19 year old AQHA gelding and Rock Star. He has been with me since he was a green broke 2 year old. This boy is no stranger to the show ring, starting out as a barrel horse, he is now one of our very popular lessons horses with the kids & showing. Cody is a true all round gentleman with experience in western performance, gaming, ultimate trail, trick riding, vaulting, trail rides, cattle work, jumps (just for fun) and loves to go swimming. He is a summer camp fav, and loves all the treats he can get. He has partnered with many kids starting them off in the show pen, and won many club show awards, buckles, a saddle, and high points for his young riders.

Cody & I have been making a come back in Speed events this past year, and won a buckle in 3d poles at the winter series jackpots, and some pay cheques. Didn't realize how much I missed competing with this guy.

Tonka Hollywood Bar "Woody"

Our tall dark and handsome 16 yr AQHA gelding. Woody has a love for speed, turn'n and burn'n in western games classes. His versatility is great working cattle, reining, liberty, trick riding and a pro on the obstacle course and jumps. A little more forward, he's a good boy in our summer camp and lessons programs with the the kids that want to learn to go a little faster.

Alexis and Woody had their third show season together. Even though they had some challenges this season they finished STRONG at the Milverton Horse club with High points in 12 & under Barrels and Poles & Reserve high point 12 & under games. These two are truly rockin' it!

Alexandra's Rainbow "Rain"

Our drama queen, show diva turns 9 this year. Out of our very own Roxy (APHA), and sired by Bolt (tri coloured buckskin stud, son of stormy). Rain is a lessons and summer camp fav. Her sassy temperment, flashy look, and solid build she is sure to catch your attention. Experienced in all thing western performance, trail, reining, obstacles, and turning into quite the little gamer.

Rain & Mckenna had a fantastic show season together, with the highlight of beating the coach in Halter classes ;) At Milverton Horse Club they came home with high points in Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Reserve high point games, and High point performance in the youth 13-18 division

Dallas

What a character this 24 pinto x arabian year old gelding is. Another lessons and camps favourite, this boy has really done a little bit of everything. Loads of experience competing in MANY club shows, fairs, OBRA, jackpots and rodeo events in western performance, english, jumping, trail. He's a fun ride out on trails, or a champ through the obstacle course, an amazing trick riding partner, and occasionally vaulting team fill in. Oh man can he pull a toboggan in the winter, hang on tight!

Dallas and I had some fun this fall getting back in the ring together at fairs and some fun shows. Great to get a chance to compete with this boy again.

Cookie

Our big beautiful Cookie Mama, is a solid 15 year old pinto x Belgian mare. This gorgeous girl is part of our vaulting team. She has such a loving in your face personality, and is like a big puppy dog. She loves all the hugs, treats and attention from our summer vaulting camps and year round clinics. She's even learning how to hitch up and pull the wagon with Peanut. Although we have tried multiple times to include her in our riding endevours, she has made it clear that she prefers to be a lunge line horse lol, and we are happy to do so.

Our vaulting season was back and the BIGGEST one yet!! we had an amazing year with a great team. Three shows traveling to Ottawa, Ome Mee, and hosting one at Reach. Cookie was fabulous for her walk, trot and pairs vaulters, carring a few into the winner circles with year end high points.

Peppy's Shining Lady "Gracie" â€‹

19 year old AQHA palomino mare. An amazing horse from GC Performance horses. This talented and gorgeous lady is truly an amazing partner in the show ring. With training in reining, cow horse and ranch classes this versatile mare is a champ int he show pen. Teaching the kiddos in performance lessons, camps, trail rides, and a pro in the trail ring.

After having a year off for an injury Gracie and I started back in the show ring very lightly at Milverton Horse Club with the kids. Although the classes were small, we had a great season building her back. Finishing with year end awards in the adult showmanship, horsemanship, western pleasure, open command, open reining, and high point performance. Was a great feeling being back in the ring with lovely lady. Looking forward to continuing to build her strength and soundness.

She also paired up Maggie for her first year of showing walk jog 12 & under and winning the high point award in that class.

Peanut

Our Belgian wonder boy, gelding (no one really knows how old this gentleman is best guess over 20) This gentle sole is a babysitter type horse in our lessons programs, camps, trail rides and vaulting programs. We have paired him up with the lovely Cookie to pull the wagon, together they are "PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE". Dabbling in our beginner trick riding clinics, you'll even see him in the show pen teaching the kiddos performance and games, a true confidence booster horse.

Peanut had an amazing show season with our vaulting team in walk and pairs classes.

Advanced Star Lena "Dillon"

21 yr old AQHA gelding, comes from a reining cow horse back round. Although he was left unridden for many years it didn't take long to get this boy back to his roots. A versatile sweetheart in lessons, camps, and shows. With experience in western performance, games, obstacles, trail riding, and anything we through his way.

Dillon & Reese had their second season together in the show pen, finding a new need for speed. By far our most improved partnership this season at the Milverton Horse Club. Placing high points in the 12 & under division in Keyhole, Horsemanship, Texas Speed'n Action, High point games, Reserve high point performance, and over all high point horse and rider. Way to go team!

Windancers Legacy "Reba"

A new face to the barn family is a sassy red head, Reba an 18yr old APHA mare. A rescue horse we brought home to give a better chance at life. She comes with a story, and some baggage, but has made really good progress over her year of healing and training. From not being looked after or ridden in who knows how long, to join us in some intermediate camps, and lessons. She is your typical moody mare, and definitely picks her people.

We arn't sure the lessons barn life is the right fit for her, and feel she would be better suited with one rider to be her person. If your interested in coming to try her out and buy reba I am open to having that conversation. She will say in work and introduced to showing until she finds the right fit for her.

In Memory Of...

Somewhere in time's own space, there must be some sweet pasture place, where creeks sing on and tall grass grows, some paradise where horses go, for by the love that guides my pen I know great horses live again.  ~Stanley Harrison

We are lucky to have the privilege of working with such great animals. It is a sad part of life that we can't always spend more time with them. We would like to honour those who have moved on to their sweet pasture place. Forever in our hearts.
