Training

 

Here at Maple Rock Stables we specialize in working with both horse and rider. As we believe in building a partnership between you and your beloved equine partner. We will help you build positive experiences giving your horse confidence and trust in its rider, and giving yourself the confidence and trust in your horse. Heidi starts a strong foundation with teaching ground work based on liberty training. As each horse and riders situation is different we customize all our training programs to suit your needs and goals. Weather you are just starting out with a new horse or overcoming a bad experience. All our programs are full hands on experience with you the owner being apart of the process. I want both of you to be confident in each other so when you leave you are able to manage on your own. I believe that training a horse is not something you can learn from a book or a video. It is a talent and a gift and comes with years of experience and continued learning. Each horse is different and learns at their own pace as dose each person. 

 

Training is based on Heidi's valuable experiences and knowledge that she has gained over her 20 years working with horses and riders of all ages. It all starts with a strong foundation regardless of the discipline you are destined for. We have worked with a variety of horses in both western and english. It doesn't matter if you have goals for the show ring or just recreational fun. 

 

When your horse stays with us our training program includes full board with individual feeding program, box stall kept fresh, daily training, one on one sessions with Heidi as offten as you are able and excellent care. Of course we realize life is busy and you may not be able to commit to working with your horse every day, this is where we fill in to keep things consistent. Working with your horse five days a week.   

Fee $600/month + boarding

We can also set up trailering in times to work with you and your horse to suit your schedule as best we can. All hoses must have proof of up to date vaccinations, and riders must provide proof of liability insurance. 

$45/hour
